John,

Thanks and no problem.

There is special GSC volume on Buchans, edited by Mr. Thurlow. A really spectacular read, technically and story wise. One of the best mining stories in Canada.

Regarding the problematic geophysics, this volume goes on to discuss how some of the earliest electrical surveys in the world were conducted over the Buchans deposits.

My reference to local stratigraphy deals with any VMS style deposit where mineralization tends to be confined to a particular sequence(s). The complex structure in and around the Buchans area makes this stratigraphic correlation difficult. It is in this regard that geophysics may help indirectly with mapping.

Regards
