IMO, RSA has been siphoning off VRSN to pad its earnings in the past as an insurance policy against earning visibility, nothing more nothing less.
I believe however, that now there is more visibility from future earnings, and this won't be resorted to. With the formation of RSA Capital, it appears that this is in fact what is happening or going to happen.
All I've really taken their selling stock as, is a vehicle that they are taking advantage of their own investment savvy. Basically with RSA Capital, they are saying that they are setting up an incubater to further developments of their current and future investments. What this does is creates a whole new journal entry that the investment community can focus on and "see", rather than it being logged as a footnote. Bottom-line, the better full disclosure is smarter.

Also, weren't they buying back a lot of shares when SDTI was below $10?

I thought the numbers were great looking past the net income #. Do you feel otherwise regarding my statements? I'm interested in your comments.

John
