Bob may be a good market timer for folks who invest in market averages (index funds, etc.) but don't forget that, if you invest in individual stocks it is really a market of stocks...my IRA is already up 49% since December 31 thanks to undervalued second-tier semi-equipment stocks like COHU, CYMI, MTSN, BRKS, etc. If you invest in the averages, his advice is probably excellent!
