The quantity of pro-Intel posts on the AMD thread has not changed, at least according to my 1.5 years on SI. Why don't you lighten up a little?

As for AMD, they've always been a threat to Intel. 1.5 years ago, AMD supporters were saying, "The vast majority of users out there don't need anything more than an AMD K6-2." They were also saying, "3DNow! will crush Intel's KNI [now known as SSE]." Funny how no one is bragging about the K6-2 anymore. And funny how 3DNow! is quickly entering oblivion, except in the minds of AMD marketing.

Of course, times change very quickly, and AMD might have a very strong year 2000. Enjoy it while you can, but don't think for a minute that Intel is down for the count.
