CNBC says INTC to move into the video games business in direct competition with SGI. They will gang several MX200 processors together. This will be announced at some video games conference next week. It was on CNBC 3 times today and sounds like it could put a further scare into SGI shares like it did to COMS in the networking arena. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at things, SGI has gotten so beaten down that it might not have a big effect. This is all I know so further questions won't do much good. Maybe someone else who knows the company better can comment on what this might mean.
