The reporting back has been getting slower, just another sign that service levels, in general, are deteriorating. I placed a marketable order with 18 minutes left today and at this moment I still don't know if it filled or not although I suspect it did (at least it should have).

I started transferring assets awhile back (beg. of Dec.) and what I found works pretty well is to do it incrementally. I try to buy on dips at Fido and sell on any bounce at Schwab. I move cash by writing checks on my Schwab acct and depositing them at Fido. Last time I tried to formally transfer assets, they were effectively frozen for 2 weeks which, in this market, is too long to be exposed.
