It doesn't surprise me that web site data is collected. What I'm wondering is why Bill posts the stats on the IDC board. It appears he's trying to associate IDC with well-respected and well known corporations when all it means is that people who work at these places visit his site. What kind of conclusion are we supposed to draw from that? Isn't his site tailored to investors? And don't these investors have to work somewhere or have their internet access through some company? It's not like we can conclude that top management of these corporations are visiting Bill Daglish's IDC web site to determine their next strategic move or anything like that. It's really ridiculous when you stop to think about it. Bux
