I'm just downloading the data from my PCQuotes feed for a little simple analysis. I sense, as many other do, a certain momentum north of 49 in the last month or two, so I thought I would take a closer look at Cdn markets broken down by various criteria.

For starters, I want to compare performance based on price brackets. For simplicity I'll use the merger data of the CDNX as the start of the analysis. Using price brackets as follows:

.10-.49 .50-5 5.01-25 >25

and broken down by TSE and VSE, which do you think will be the best percentage performer? My guess is CDNX overall, but I don't think there are many expensive issues, so either the pennies or the puppies.

A cyber beer and the awe of your friends for the right guess.
