Yes there are certain stocks that seem to be on a longterm uptrend. I have a few favorites on Toronto actually that seem to defy all logic and they are WWW, MTP, BAS, CRY and I could probably come up with a handful of others that you would want to trade some but also hold some.

But on the CDNX I tend to prefer to just trade them since there is soooo much action there lately. The idea is to come up with a strategy where you consistently make money and sometimes I think our momo stocks spread us out too thin. Also we can't get quick executions so we're getting screwed on some of those too.

I think very short term position trading might be a better solution for us. But what are we going to do for fun then? <ggg> We can't complain about the brokers and whine about oh my goodness I owned that yesterday and now it's tripled right after I sold.
