Further to the news release in Stockwatch Jan. 17, 2000, Rock Resources has
entered into a drill contract agreement with Major Chile S.A. The drilling
contractor, Major Chile S.A., is part of a well-known and very reputable
international drilling group. Pursuant to the terms of the contract, Major Chile will
conduct up to 4,000 metres of NQ diamond drilling. Major Chile personnel will
travel to the Coiron project during the week commencing Jan. 31, 2000, to begin
drill camp setup.
European financing update
Further to the news release in Stockwatch Oct. 12, 1999, Rock Resources
received, on Jan. 20, 2000, a progress report from its agent in Switzerland
advising that completed documentation has now been received covering in excess
of 50 per cent of the agreed best efforts $1.8-million financing. The agent is
confident that the balance of the financing will soon be completed.
Chile
By telephone report Jan. 21, John Kowalchuk and Chris Sampson advised that
the geological and geophysical work currently being completed in preparation of
the imminent Millennium Discovery drill program is on schedule and proceeding
smoothly.
