Inktomi should be on somebody's list to research if it already isn't. And it should be in either the W&W portfolio or the GKI index. I don't know what market share it has, so it may not yet be a Gorilla. (It has a market cap of $12 billion.)

Their search technology is proprietary and open. The product is in the tornado, evidenced by their most recent report showing revenue that tripled. And if you're concerned that the comparison is made on a relatively small base of revenue, be less concerned when you realize that in the five most recent quarters:

1) Sequential revenue has increased at least 30% every quarter; and
2) The rate of increase every quarter was higher than the rate of increase in the previous quarter.
