It's "a" S&P option.

The rule is does the word sound like it begins with a consonant or a vowel. If a vowel use "an"; if a consonant use "a".

consonant examples:
1. a house
2. a nickname
3. a union (sounds like a "y" even though a vowel.)

vowel examples:
1. an office
2. an hour ("h" is silent, even though a consonant)
3. an uncle
