Slacker - The Korean Patent Office invalidated 3 of 49 claims in one patent. The original article was clear as mud (the first time I read it, I read it wrong). I don't know whether it was completely unintentional, a translation problem, or some companies' (Motorola?) spin. Read Qualcomm's release to see what really happened. Clark PS The patent in question is, from my very brief look at it, the grandaddy of all Qualcomm's claim stake patents. If you are of a technical bent, this is the patent to read to get a general understanding of how IS-95 works.
