Slacker - The Korean Patent Office invalidated 3 of 49 claims in one patent. The original article was clear as mud (the first time I read it, I read it wrong). I don't know whether it was completely unintentional, a translation problem, or some companies' (Motorola?) spin. Read Qualcomm's release to see what really happened.

PS The patent in question is, from my *very* brief look at it, the grandaddy of all Qualcomm's claim stake patents. If you are of a technical bent, this is the patent to read to get a general understanding of how IS-95 works.
