OLB's claim to be international, but are a far cry from being so...pretty much US ADR centric...try to trade anything non-ADR (Softbank, PCCLF, Haikaru Tsuchin, Trans Cosmos) through the likes of a Schwab or an Etrade and watch the crap hit the fan...a) while they all have a Global Support group, they have no clue and you still MUST transact through a broker and at a premium cost, b) spreads are HUGE (if they even have a US market maker), c) realtime quotes and the like are an impossibility due to the global clock and third party quote services are often behind by a week in updating pricing info, d) timely information is virtually non-existent and e) most require a min of 100 share blocks which for the likes of Softbank would be an entry to play of $80K and for Yahoo Japan at 1,000,000Yen, well, you do the math!...for folks looking to find the next gen of net users, HK, Japan, etc are the place to be and for folks thinking that the next wave will be nets orgs with a true global focus and trading capabilities 24x7, these folks MAY be on to something.
