OT, sort of. Meryl Buchanan in Monday's Barron's recommends shorting JAKKS. Seems toy sales are shrinking and the "exponential growth in wrestling has fizzled." Mario Gabelli, however, noted that ratings for TV wrestling are still on the up-swing and that the 14 to 26 year old males who make up the bulk of the audience for TV wrestling don't buy plastic wrestling figures.

So, how about a paired trade: shorting JAKKS, while going long THQ.
