Darrell, I wasn't trying to make a point. I was actually trying to get some actual info on how much business MSFT has in development tools in its own backyard. I don't care if they are growing because I am sure that they own the lion share of that market.

You say that Borland tools are more respected than MSFT. OK, fine. But MSFT kicked Borlands butt. Borland was the undisputed owner of C++ tools for the PC market place until MSFT finally came out with a competitive tool/IDE. Developers flocked to MSFT with the rationalization "that they must know how to do it better - its their operating system." Borland still has a following, sure. But MSFT has much more of the business. It may not be large in proportion to the rest of their business which is huge. But that is the kind of business that INPR is going after.

My question is How big is the business? How big will the business be in the linux arena where MSFT isn't a player? That business will belong to INPR, because they are the most recognizable name to developers switching to linux from Win.

Do you know of any dollar figures in the WIN market that we can project into the linux market?
