Mr. Buzz,

The beauty of XML is that it is a 'self-describing' document that theoretically doesn't require the extensive negotiations between partners that EDI or Flat files did. Minor changes in the format, will not negate the validity of a business document. It is a major step in the direction of a universal information exchange language. Since the internet (and business efficiency) are based on quality of information, XML is a key future ingredient.
