john, about msn connectivity--I tried to switch my isp from aol to msn but, since is having serious difficulty providing a connection, I have had to continue aol service...i have not been able to connect to msn for 5 days in a row, now. For three days msn tech support said my problems must be due to modem or software error on my side. Then, after I connect via a long distance (pay) line and after i find all local connect phone numbers are busy when I call by phone (without modem), tech support admits that there must be a server problem in my area. They seem surprised that their system check shows the lines are working fine (how could they not know the servers are overloaded and busy?).

Well, I was on aol a few years ago when Case jammed the Xmas blitz signup down our throats and aol members could not connect. The result was a legal settlement for aol members. This will also happen to msft. Just another thing to factor in when determining msft investment value. I do not have a position in the stock. I am very irritated by msn's inability to provide service, however. Hard to believe they are worse than aol.
