LOL, Jim.

Relax folks. Just ignore these Qualcommers, their petty Qualcommisms and their charmingly snide comments. I'm resigned to the fact that it is apparently important for them to put down a small company like IDC in order for QCOM to continue to justify its priced-for-perfection valuation. Motorola is more valuable than QCOM and that is the pecking order of the future unless they screw up.

Some of them like Bux are obviously still drunk with the capital gains of their year-long QCOM valuation binge which, as easily verifiable events are showing, served at least the purpose of casting a more critical spotlight on the wireline and wireless backbone being deregulated around the world starting with the old and the new ATT as the reference point. A retail investor with 80% of his portfolio in one stock can't be all that good. This is just the ole' and predictable substitution of stock price for facts on the ground mentality that's currently working. Eminently exploitable if you ask me. Anyway, there's simply no rhyme or reason to it especially if, like many of us here, you're working the lucrative, multi-year network of networks investment theme in relation to other building block sectors of technology and the old economy.

Others like Molloy are just waiting to be hit with the mild absurdity of the false linkage of narrowly relating a $3 million dollar quarterly recurring royalty stream to a fast-growing 350-400 million TDMA/GSM installed base given the basic structure of an IPR licensing agreement.

If we keep the static from these creepos down and improve the signal to noise ratio of this board then maybe next week
the agenda of this message board will be the different valuation methods possible based on the information in IDC's SEC filings alone. Those of you who already have done that part should have no problem participating in what is essentially a quantitative and qualitative process.

Hope y'all are enjoying the weekend after the lunar eclipse and the red moon.

Gus

P.S. Bux can't possibly be a QCOM shill, can he? He's too inept. I'm going to stick to the over-exuberant QCOMmer turned into rising tide genius with a closed mind until facts on the ground prove me wrong. LOL
