It seems to me that Bill is fighting the tape. Blowoffs, if that is what this is, can take months to complete. Not so long ago I read an article in Barrons about a long standing trend of Nov. to April being up for the general markets and the other months being down for the general markets. That inflows of cash come in so strongly year end through IRA funding through April 15. Mini-corrections can happen during the up months but generally to trade in here is relatively 'safe'. I think it is unwise to fight this trend, regardless of the lofty prices, unless you stand aside. But don't short it here IMO. If you were invested during only 6 months a year, you would have avoided all major corrections and had returns much greater than anyone invested long year round. Thoughts? Steve D.
