Selling Korea
Mact, like you, I am VERY frustrated that Korea is doing nothing. However, I sold IIJI at about 73 when it started to fall, and SIFY at 69 when it started to fall, and both subsequently had large runups. So I'm tempering my sells, now. My new policy is to try to double my investment every 3 mos, but not to sell until after at least some sort of pop. I only bought Korea about 1 month ago, so I'm still going to hold on.
I know that Banc Boston, who underwrote TMCS, would periodically hype it, to no avail. This is what may be happening to KOREA. But I think the news we've been hearing is VERY SOLID. Also, I think the market for internet is much better in Korea than PRC or India, and similar to that in Japan in terms of a technologically savvy and relatively well-off population.
Agree that current market cap of 4B is a bit pricey, but Korea appears to be one of the few games in town for the whole country, with B2B and cable and broadband aspirations as well. So I'm going to sit tight this time for a while longer.
