Thanks for the reply - should be interesting when it makes the move. I'm still kicking about the fact that my CPA mentioned this to me when it was at 3 last fall! From what I've been able to discern, there are two thrusts to the smart-card idea; UPGD is persuing the memory-storage angle and the other is a company called Precis, using an intelligent-card with an on-board processor. precis-scs.com Precis is going public late Jan or early Feb as PSPS - might be worth watching. I see that Bank of America is using them. Good luck!
