Darrell, you missed the REAL information in that CORL article:

When Cowpland booted up his laptop, for example, an audience member asked why the startup screen showed he was using Windows 98, rather than Core Linux for his slide show presentation. After the laughter subsided, Cowpland explained that that Linux was intended to provide choice to users, not eliminate Windows. He also pointed out that he was using WordPerfect Presentation for his visuals, not PowerPoint (Cowpland runs both Linux and Windows on thePCs in his office).

If I were a CORL shareholder, I'd be disgusted!

As for the whole development tools thing. Porting Inprise tools is a great idea, I can't argue with any of that. But the fact still remains that development tools sales have been declining for years. If Linux turns out to be a viable market for tools, we will see a nice addition to revenues. But management has consistently been saying that this is not the future of Inprise. Unfortunately, nobody seems to be listening.
