"About Novell

Novell, Inc. is the broadest supplier of Net infrastructure software used to integrate and manage the diverse information resources of private business networks and the Internet. Novell's worldwide channel, consulting, developer, education and technical support programs are the most extensive in the network computing industry."

If this is from Novell's new marketing direction, Novell is still in deep trouble. What the heck are they trying to say here. This explanation at the bottom of every press release is supposed to give a capsule description of a company and clearly communicate its unique value to an outsider. What do they mean by "broadest?" "Most extensive," who cares about this? Does everyone already know what "private business networks" are? This statement should tell the average CNN listener enough to know what Novell does. This needs a big rewrite. Please don't tell me that this is the best we are going to get from new marketing. Remember that Eric wants Novell to more clearly express the message. This would be the best place to start.

Maybe the folks on this thread could improve upon this and we could email it to Eric.
