Abstract

Small molecules that mimic enzymes can destroy radicals - those reactive nasties that might just

Modern molecular biology is geared towards genes and proteins, with small molecule chemistry
coming in a distant third. Small molecules are important as drugs, but largely ignored in
understanding how the cell works.
