PSR = price to sales ratio. It is calculated by market capitization divided by sales. It essentially tells you how much revenue the company is generating for every dollar of stock price. In the equipment sector this is very useful during downturns when there are no earnings upon which to base a valuation. Sometimes you will see sales calculated by TTM or the most recent Q run rate.
