In the meantime, yes there is the site to study - mycitymarket.com .. It seems a viable model, there are so many retailers too small to handle an independent ecommerce operation, while customers will be more likely to give their credit card numbers to a larger operation with greater perceived credibility .... 8 or 9 per cent is a whack off the top, though ... good luck if they can get it, but retailing is all about margins, i suspect the slice will be smaller down the road, as half of that or less would provide serious cash flow if/when sales volume explodes.
If they can get established in Seattle they can capture the hearts and minds of some major players ... that's an ambitious move, but geographically sensible, Seattle is the closest town.
OT - tripped across this - gastips.com ... you can post gas prices and lurk the posts of others ... doesn't do me much good, gas would hurt my diesel, they say -g- |
