Yes... If I compare them percentage wise then I compare an equal dollar amount of GUMM with YHOO, CMGI etc.

GUMM is up 121% ($26.5 / $12)
YHOO is up 205% ($351 / $115)
CMGI is up 228% ($118 / $36) you forgot the stock split (2-1)

If I invested around $10.000 each in

YHOO ( 87 shares, -$10.005)
CMGI ( 278 shares, -$10.008)
GUMM (-834 shares,short position, +10.008).
Position size (abs): $30.018
Cash invested: $10.008,--

Then I'm ahead quite nice...

87 Yahoo worth 30.537 (gain 20.532)
278 CMGI worth 32.804 (gain 22.796)
-834 GUMM worth -22.101 (loss 12.093)

Total: 41.240,-- (gain 31.235)

Subtract $90 comission (6 deals @ $15)
