Tell us some interesting stuff

I'm too busy to get into any details (lurking is a serious 24/7 business for me ... it's the way I make a living). Let's just say we are finally getting close to uniting quantum mechanics and Einstein's gravitational ideas. The superstring theory requires some 11 dimensions (honest that's 11) to pull it off. There's still plenty of work to be done, but what's remarkable is how close we are. This book

is a remarkable "tour de force" that allows the lay person to gain some insight into the current frontier of Physics.

I over here because I just got too tired of reading posts from the jr. High crowd that is all too prevalent on many SI threads. You know the same ole TA vs FA, trader vs LTB&H blah, blah with everyone trying to get the last word. Sorry to vent, but this therapy for me.

The above link provides some reviews if you are interested.
