Scott, Worse, the original order had given the infringers a chance to reply. So they will probably have till mid-august to reply. Then there is a "Markman" hearing where the judge (not a jury) decides what the claims mean. But, whichever side the judge believes in the Markman hearing will likely win the lawsuit. Also, once the hearing is held, the judge can decide the claim issue on the spot, or more likely take her time and issue a written decision. That can take as long the judge wants. patience. GRC
