Well, I'm an *investor. There's no ground for fantasy that Microsoft is going to have a 64 bit OS anytime remotely soon. There's no ground for speculation that Microsoft is going to release full documentation for their OS without a U.S. federal court order and somehow that's going to be bad for Linux(?). That's just silly.

It's not about being a fan or foe of one thing or another. It's about knowing the reality of the market.

GOOD FOR LINUX/BAD FOR COREL?

Is it completely inconceivable for Microsoft to use marketing strategies similar to the model that Proctor &
Gamble has been using successfully for decades? Why not MS-Linux OS? It just becomes another brand on their shelf.
They haven't seemed to change any of their current strategies despite the ongoing battle with the DOJ. Maybe it comes bundled with Windows 2000 2nd Edition or is distributed separately for less $$$ than Corel can deliver for and still remain profitable. P&G cannibalizes its own brands all the time. That would be great for Linux, but bad for Corel.
