Hy Jy Cap'n!

Do any of those Canadian Corel sales generate US taxes?
US jobs?
"made in the US" labels?

Do you think government workers, GS Level people, are loyal to the good ol US of A? NAUGHT

We used to do an audit of a quasi-governmental group in DC, and twice a year would spend about 2 weeks in the nation's capital.
It made me sick! I never saw so many mercedes, volvo's, bmw's in my life. Honestly, it was rare to see a Chevrolet. Coming from Detroit I became aware of how little loyalty government workers had for "made in the USA" products. I know, things have changed, but seeing the waste, and duplication in DC still makes me mad. These people work for you and me, and I DON'T NEED OR WANT THEIR PROTECTION.

It was just an expression of course, but I wonder how many of us have jobs where we really have to compete in the market place?
I do work for small businesses, and it can be tough. And if you do succeed, you pay taxes to support the system that provided the opportunity.

Maybe the doj should buy its computers from Japan, air conditioners from France, etc etc etc. IDIOTS!
