i'm ready for an IPO play whenever: TRRA and soon AOL Latin America.
"..the enthusiasm should skyrocket when for the first time a regional unit of AOL lists its shares separately from the mammoth parent company." (credit the Forbes article).
The TRRA IPO was very successful. no reason to think AOL/LA won't be too. just hope i can get in at a reasonable opening price. Anyone following this IPO i would appreciate info in the future as to when the IPO will occur.
But,on topic, i think there will be a consolidation this year of 2nd tier portals who have established a steady and growing, if relatively small, subscriber base. TRRA is my favorite candidate to snatch PASA because TRRA 1) has a stated objective of marketing to US hispanics and 2) has the $$ to buy it.
