Sarmad - <<A hint of an answer may be that Fujitsu had a flurry of news releases a year ago announcing lab densities around 20GB/inch but as far as I know they do not have any product at 10GB per platter or anything close to that (at least in the retail shops).>> They have the Desktop XV8(announced 23jul9, expected vol prod Sep99) and XV10(announced 99, expected vol prod Dec99). I am passing this "official PR" info along; I cannot claim to have seen any in the channel, but I don't really see much presence from them at all for any product.
