John Murphy's comments: interactive.wsj.com Right now, the stock market is nearing the end of the seasonally strong period that normally runs from November through January. With interest rates on the rise, investors may be more inclined to lock up market profits during the second half of the month or rotate into cheaper sectors of the market that are displaying new leadership -- like energy shares and small and midsized stocks. Basic materials stocks also should benefit from the trend toward higher commodity prices as the market rotation continues.
