Hi Tom

actually selling options is a hell of lot more profitable and safer than buying them...

i too sell naked puts for monthly income and usually near month only and usually 5-10 points below the stock price..

i have on many occasions sold NP's ITM on volitile nets, for large hits on trending stocks within the sector, "when it's hot"...

i'm a Point & Figure chartist...i never buy options, or sell options without KNOWING market direction based on our 5 indicators...market indicators that is..and where the sector is at the moment i dip my beak...

i've trade a ton of synethic longs and shorts over the past 2 years...i'll sell the NP and take the proceeds & buy ATM calls same month...trade is free, "if it works"<G>...

it's pretty safe if you know your stuff...and trust your TA like i do...

so keep on truckin guy...most people tend to be greedy when it come's to option trading, never knowing when to sell or buy back...my goal is always 100% profit using about a 10% move in the stock price...if you do your homework it ccan be very rewarding...

OJ....
