Adobe's 'Smokingly Great Millennial Design Contest' Now Underway Creative Design Submissions Accepted Through February 19 on Adobe.com SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing to make Adobe.com the creative Mecca where digital publishers work and play, Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) today announced the first 'Smokingly Great Millennial Design Contest.' Creative professionals, amateurs and hopefuls are invited to submit their creations to the Adobe website (http://www.adobe.com) through February 19.
Designers may select any combination of Adobe's award-winning software products to create their entries. Aligning with the Millennial theme, all entries should portray a creative interpretation of the year 2000 and beyond, designed to intrigue, excite and incite the viewer. Contest entries must be 5"x7" in size, at 144 pixels per inch jpeg format and submitted on Adobe.com.
The 'Smokingly Great Millennial Design Contest' entries will be judged by a distinguished panel of Web and Entertainment experts, including such notables as Cintra Wilson of Salon.com, punk poet, author and artist Lydia Lunch, and cartoonist Peter Bagge of Hate fame, as well as Adobe's own distinguished panel.
Contest winners will receive a groovy prize package including round-trip airfare to San Francisco to attend Adobe Design Evangelist Russell Brown's "Captain Cosmic Conquers the Web" Art Director's Invitational Master Class (April 12-15), a prize package of Adobe software, and even a candlelight lunch with the estimable Mr. Brown himself!
