Craig- If you can't do the time don't do the crime. Maybe Microsoft can beat the rap but the efficiency of computer users on the net is half that that would be if Microsoft had not slain Netscape in the crib.

I'm sure you noted the concluding statement in the Hatch article but I'll repeat it:

Antitrust experts say that traditional antidote to remedy
anticompetitive conduct without consent decrees and judicial or
government oversight is breaking up the company.

Laws have a purpose and enforcing them is for societies benefit.
