Joe,
I hear where you're coming from.
My experience says when you/we figure out what is going on ,
the opportunity will have passed.

AMD plans are here:
www1.amd.com

The new chips here:
www1.amd.com

I understand Intel didn't hurt AMD with the Celeron, AMD fell flat
on it's face with K6 yields.

From where I am, the opinion I am forming, is that Intel is experiencing
AMD's problems of the past, and it is AMD, which has the answer now, with yields to back it up.

In holding AMD stock, and purchasing more recently, I think Intel's
problems and AMD's success will continue, and the future is unknown.
"IF" is the answer.

I make no mistakes in that the reality for me, is that I do not know
what AMD or Intel has up their sleeves, and will it be successful?
We may even know the plans, but................

The Intel chipset roadmap I think Intel posted, then pulled, but The
Register kept a copy of it:
fwiw
theregister.co.uk

Speculation is infinite..............

I'm sure others have their ideas,

steve
