brian, you've misread my tone. i am not complaining about lu's errors. i am trying to be helpful to others on this thread, because i am grateful for all the help i've gotten here and want to return the favor. i'm saying there's more wrong at lu than will be solved in one quarter, because i don't think it's wise to bottom-fish lu. we, here are the retail buyer/seller; and i think the institutions are unloading this stock and i don't want to see my fellow investors holding the bag. i have nothing to whine about. you may recall i posted the essence of my conversation with a ny times reporter, seth sheisel (or something like that) who told me quite simply, "nortel sells more product" (in high speed bandwidth). then, i had conversations i found unsatisfactory with lu investor-relations people, and i got out. if you check the date of seth sheisel's article, you'll see i got out at 75. i regret i gave you the wrong impression, because i find that on most of these subjects we agree.
