I think their investors pay them to be smart with the money. Since when is it smart to time the market? An investor's chances of beating the stock market drops once he/she drops below 100% invested. Certainly there are some who time and beat the market over a lifetime, but we don't hear about them much I guess. As always, I hope you are right (and I realize it doesn't matter much if you are not) -- I'm confident my long term holdings will do fine over that (long-term) timeframe. Randy
