Intel has lacked incentives to promote StrongARM in handhelds. Transmeta may give a good push for it. For handheld computers, Transmeta is packaging Crusoe with Linux. This combo will lead Transmeta to compete more against Palm OS, EPOS, and CE than than Intel or AMD. What do you think a Palm-OS/700MHz-StrongARM solution would do? It will run over Crusoe in no time. Khan
