Digital Island Announces Relationship With FOXSports.com to Provide Live Daily SuperBowl XXXIV Webcasts
Webcasts Include Live 30-Minute Halftime Show Streamed Exclusively Through Apple's QuickTime TV
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 24, 2000-- Digital Island, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISLD - news), a leading global e-Business Delivery Network, announced today that it will provide satellite downlink and acquisition of the live video signal, in addition to encoding that live signal in the QuickTime4 format, to FOXSports.com's (NYSE: NWS - news) coverage throughout Super Bowl XXXIV week of live daily Webcasts and halftime show.

The Webcasts, which will be streamed exclusively through Apple's QuickTime TV Network, begin today at 3:00 PM EST and run through Friday. The live 15-minute Webcasts and 30-minute halftime show will feature FOX Sports personalities delivering updates, analysis and a rundown of all the major news from Super Bowl XXXIV. The Webcasts can be seen on FOXSports.com and www.apple.com/quicktime.
