China allows more foreign banks into interbank mkt
SHANGHAI, Jan 24 (Reuters) - China has approved 12 branches of foreign banks to trade on the nation's interbank market in an effort to boost liquidity, banking sources said on Monday.

This marked the second group of foreign banks allowed to deal on the local currency interbank market after China approved nine others in 1998, they said.
