G'day all - hi pat, my feeling [and my feeling only] is that whether *bashing* or *exposing* TERN, it is rather irrelevant on CMTO, unless CMTO is figured in the equation. To say the least, SI is a place of little importance, if the boys and girls on Wall Street wanted to pump TERN - even if TERN and CMTO are direct competitors down the last product line - the purchasing power of SI is of no impact. In that case, CMTO has to do better - much better - to overcome this sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. To put it differently, CMTO [and her shareholders] should put her eyes on her own ball, so to speak.
I don't know much about TERN at all [and I am not a shareholder,] but the fact that it could get Telegate for $100MM stock, which is in effect equity investment from the seller of Telegate, is indicative of its management to grow itself. Ok, there could be a danger of overbinging, but it might not be there yet. I ve held BNYN instead of MSFT, I ve held BAY instead of CSCO, I think I ve finally learned technologies are only part of deal.
Anyway, while I ve not qualm if you and others to talk about TERN here, I should stick to CMTO :)
best, Bosco |
