Did you pull up the Java based chart of ISLD I just posted? The intra day high on 10/29 was higher than the closing high of 69.625 on 12/7. A breakaway gap can be defined as that area where there has never been any trades executed. It is not simply the gap on 12/8 from 12/7, the intra day high of 10/29 was higher... Make sense?
