Meathead, I've learned to take the IDC data at face value and this has allowed me to continue making excellent returns on DELL - whether the stock is going up or down. The IDC numbers that I just posted [IDC asks that I wait 24 hours before publicly publishing the numbers]clearly show that DELL is now no longer the great momentum stock I began buying in the summer of '96. 3% sequential growth points to, at best, a 20 cent eps which reflects a disappointing quarter particularly with CPQ growing at 18% and HP growing at 33% sequentially this quarter.
