Retta, I don't know why I bought it a year or so ago, but I did like the eSafe products better than the competition. If you are not already using it, you should go to the eSafe site and download the fully functional trial version. Though you do get the latest database with the trial version, you can't down load database updates as they come available. You got to pay the money (cheap), which helps with their earnings. Also, another thing to look at with Aladdin is that they have very little competition in the "dongle" market, though I don't know how much money you can make off of dongle protected software. Many users won't purchase software that is dongle protected. Their smart card business may have some promise, but there are many competitors in this area. Aladdin is well run and there are some tax advantages being located in Israel. . .

Actually, I got a tip from a friend when the price was about 14, resisted buying it then since there was nothing convincing me that I should at the time. The price later dropped into the single digits to around 7 or so, and then I picked up 500 shares. I guess that I just love a bargain! One problem that I see with Aladdin is that their business model cannot be described in one sentence or less. Good luck and go ALDN!
