LED flashlights... i ordered several...just arrived. have white, green and blue single LED flashlights from lithium microlight a division of emissive energy corp warwick rhode island. use 2 lithium batteries...have a little key chain attachment...operate with thumb pressure. paperwork says they are solid state micro-flourescent diode. lamplife 10,000 hours. next i have a lightwave 2000 with four white leds. uses 3 AA batteries. typical bulb life 11 years. typical battery life 14x longer than regular flashlight. waterproof, shockproof. more info at....http://www.longlight.com/ now i need some one to help me figure out if they are SiC..i am willing to unsolder everything if that will help...i can tell you that they are mucho brighter than i expected...actually hurts the eyes to look directly at the bulb in daylight. these imo are going to be a hit....
