Give me one good reason why the leading handset maker and the second or third leading infrastructure builder in the world would turn their back to Qualcomm if they thought they were the leading technology company?

Jim, where did you get this idea? First, Nokia is a licensee of Qualcomm. Second, what causes you to think that Nokia turned their back on Qualcomm? Do we know what really happened? Maybe Nokia asked Qualcomm for help but was told by Qualcomm they were too busy to dedicate any resources?

Nokia hasn't gotten where their at by ignoring what's going on in the industry.

You don't seem to be aware that Nokia's weak link is widely regarded to be their poor showing in the CDMA market.
